How to Set Up Mailbox Sync

Note: This feature is available exclusively on the Senior Place Premium plan.

Would you like emails sent from your personal email to show in the corresponding client, community, or referral source profile? With Senior Place mailbox sync, you can do just that. After setting up mailbox sync, you'll be able to view full email conversations within Senior Place including emails sent from your personal inbox. Here's how to get started:

1) Set Up SMTP with Your Gmail Account

In order to set up mailbox sync, your account must have direct email via SMTP set up. Please go here to learn how to do this.

2) Set Your Google Workspace to Trust Senior Place

To set up mailbox sync through Gmail, your Google Workspace administrator must mark Senior Place as a trusted app. To do this:

1. Navigate to: https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/list?tab=configuredApps
2. Click Configure new app
3. Search for the Senior Place app with our app ID: 468265131385-ukitk19bmte3d61tetkrnak62s1v3quq.apps.googleusercontent.com
4. Once you've located the Senior Place app, select it, then click Trustworthy and check the checkbox underneath.
5. Click Finalize

3) Navigate to My Settings > Email

1. Navigate to the profile menu
2. Select My settings
3. Click Email
4. Select Connect Gmail

4) Allow Senior Place Access to Your Gmail Account

1. Select Continue

2. Click Allow

3. Mailbox sync is now set up for your Senior Place account.

2) Navigate to My Settings > Email

1. Navigate to the profile menu
2. Select My settings
3. Click Email
4. Select Connect Outlook

3) Allow Senior Place Access to Your Outlook Account

1. Click Accept to allow Senior Place to access your Outlook account.

2. Mailbox sync is now set up for your Senior Place account.
