How to Email Community Comparisons to Clients


Sending your client and/or their family a community comparison with relevant details can be a game-changer for providing high-quality placement services! Even better, sending a community comparison is incredibly easy in Senior Place. Just follow these steps to learn how it's done:


1) Navigate to the relevant Client

From your Clients tab, choose the client you'll be sending the Community Comparison to.


2) Ensure the Client has Potential Communities selected

By navigating to the Community Options tab, you'll be able to tell whether you've already found potential community matches or not. If no communities show up on that tab, follow this guide to find ideal communities for your client.


3) Ensure the Community Comparison looks right

Prior to sending the Community Comparison, it's best practice to make sure it looks exactly how you want it to. You can view the Community Comparison by clicking the Actions button and either Shareable link or Download PDF. Typically you want to check the type you'll be sending to your client.

  • Shareable link - This is a link to an online Community Comparison page. What's special about this link is that any changes you make to potential communities in Senior Place will automatically be reflected on that linked page.
  • Download PDF - Some of your clients/families may prefer to receive a PDF. If that's the case, you can preview what the PDF will look like by downloading it to your device.


4) Edit the Community Comparison fields (optional)

After previewing your Community Comparison, you may decide to further customize the fields/sections that are displayed. If that's the case, you can follow this tutorial to customize your Community Comparison.


5) Navigate to Email to client

Now that the Community Comparison is exactly how you want it, it's time to send it to your client and/or their family! Click Actions again, and choose the Email to client option.


6) Edit the email

Here's the last piece of the puzzle before you send the Community Comparison. You'll need to customize the email to the client, and then send it on!

  1. Edit the recipients and choose whether or not to BCC yourself
  2. Customize your email Subject and Body
  3. Choose to send a Live Community Comparison Link and/or a Community Comparison PDF
  4. Attach additional files (like community brochures) if desired
  5. Include this helpful tutorial for live link navigation (optional).
  6. Click Send

7) Enjoy the time you've saved!

While you're enjoying the time you've saved, you can also confirm the email was sent by following these instructions.
