What to do if you can't find a community
If you're experiencing trouble finding a specific community, follow these steps:
1) Clear filters
Sometimes a filter (like Community Type or Rating) will prevent a community from showing up. Clearing all filters will ensure all communities within your map view will display.
2) Reset map view
If your map gets moved, Senior Place will only display communities within that new map view. My clicking the "x" next to Map View, you'll reset the map to its default state, showing every community within that area.
3) Search for the community by name
Once you've reset your filters and Map View, you can search for the community by name or address.
Pro Tip: You can even search by partial names/addresses, and Senior Place will find any relevant communities (see image below).
I still can't find the community🤔
Most of the time, the previous three steps will enable you to find the community you need; however, in certain circumstances, the following will apply:
1) The Community is in another State/County
If the community is in a different State/County than what your organization set up with us initially, it may not be in your database. To find out if we can add a new region for you, reach out to us here!
2) The Community isn't licensed
Although we regularly check licensing databases for new communities, sometimes communities aren't licensed or haven't been added yet. In this case, you can easily manually add a community. Do this by navigating to Communities > Add New Community.
Pro Tip: If you've manually added a community that later gets licensed (and added to the official database), we won't duplicate it in Senior Place!
