How to Start the New Move Process
On occasion, you might have prior clients who need to move to a new community. Thankfully, using the New Move process in Senior Place means you won't have to redo all of the work you previously did for that client. Follow these steps to start a new move for a client:
1) Navigate to the relevant client
First, you'll want to navigate to the relevant client profile. If the client is Closed, you'll want to follow this tutorial to find their profile.
2) Click Start New Move Action
- Click Actions
- Choose Start new move
3) Confirm the new move
When you confirm a new move, the following will happen:
- A new, duplicated client will be created and put in the New status.
- The original client will remain as it is. Nothing will be deleted or removed from that profile.
- All Overview and Intake Details information will be copied to the duplicated client.
- Move-specific information (i.e. community options, move date, emails, etc.) will not be copied to the duplicated client; however, it will still be accessible in the original client profile.
