How to Filter the Communities List

When looking for an ideal community or browsing the community database in Senior Place, it can be helpful to filter the results for a specific client or scenario. See below for how to filter results:

1) Navigate to the Communities module

Note: These filters can also be used in the Find Ideal Communities tab of your clients.

2) Filter by:

Here are the primary filter options when searching for communities. You can always apply more than one filter if desired!

Name, Contact, or Street

Sometimes you're looking for a specific community but can only remember a piece of the name, the street it's on, or the contact at the location. Thankfully, you can search using any of those pieces of information! In the example below, we searched for "Loving", and a list of communities with "Loving" in their name showed up.

Location

If you want to search by proximity (of a specific address) or within a certain zip code, county, or city, this is the filter for you. In the example below, we filter our results by communities within the 98012 zip code.

Community Type(s)

Filtering by community type(s) can be useful for narrowing the scope of your search for a specific client. For example, if your client needs a memory care facility, you can quickly spot any community with that tag. You can also filter by more than one community type if needed!

Base Price

If your client has a strict budget they need to follow, filtering by Base Price can be particularly useful. You can choose to include/exclude communities without price details as well!

Rating

If you like to rate the communities in your database, this can be a helpful filter for excluding poorly rated communities. In this example, we are looking for any communities with a 4-star rating or higher.

More Filters

If none of the other filters accomplish what you need, the More filters section has you covered. You can filter by everything from Floor Plans to Health Services to Amenities. Based on your community database customization, this section will show more or less filter options.

Manual Map Filter

Sometimes manually moving the map is the easiest way to look for communities in a specific area. To do this, you can simply drag the map and zoom in/out as needed. Once you are happy with the new map location, click Search this area to bring up the communities in that new zone.
