How to Add Senior Place Tasks to Your Calendar


If you're interested in seeing your Senior Place Tasks on your work calendar, you can easily do so using the following steps:


1) Go to the Notifications & Calendar Setting

  1. Click the Settings cog ⚙️
  2. Choose Settings
  3. Click My Settings (this is the default tab)
  4. Choose Notifications & Calendar

2) Adjust the Task Duration (optional)

If you'd like to adjust the duration of tasks on your calendar, you can do so here. The default time is 30 minutes.


3) Link Senior Place with your Calendar

There are two options for going about this process:


A) Simple Method

This method is the quickest and most accessible but requires a default Calendar application to be chosen on your device. Once that is done, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click Open calendar

This will open your default calendar and auto-populate the Senior Place information.

  1. Click Subscribe

Note: This may look different depending on your Calendar application.

Clicking Subscribe will tell your calendar to import/show tasks that are created in Senior Place. You can always unsubscribe in the future if you decide to not have tasks on your calendar in the future.

B) Advanced Method

If you don't have a default calendar application chosen, you can use this more manual method to achieve the same results! All you need to do is follow these steps:

  1. Copy the Calendar URL under Advanced in Senior Place

  1. Open your Calendar's Add Calendar settings

Note: This could look different in your Calendar application.

  1. Paste the Calendar URL in the relevant location and click Add Calendar


4) Enable "Periodically Refresh" option (if applicable)

Depending on the calendar you use, it may not default to automatically refreshing/syncing your tasks on a regular basis. We'd recommend checking your calendar and/or account settings to ensure they refresh regularly so you always have the most up-to-date information!


5) Enjoy Tasks Synced with your Calendar

Note: Changes made to Tasks from your Calendar will not be changed in Senior Place.

Now that you've set this up, any tasks assigned to you in Senior Place will be added to your calendar. Additionally, if a related task is adjusted in Senior Place, that change will be reflected on your calendar as well!
