Permission Levels Explained

When you're managing a team of individuals in Senior Place, it's important to ensure each user has an appropriate permission level for the work they're doing.

Here's a list of the available permission levels from highest to lowest in access:

Administrator

This is the highest permission level with no limitations within your Senior Place account. They can do everything including the following:

  • Edit the Community Database
  • Edit all settings (including Agency settings)
  • See all clients, communities, and referral sources
  • Create SignWise templates
  • Perform a CSV export of data
  • Manage Users (add/remove users)
  • Access to all reports

Power User

Power Users can do everything an Administrator can except edit Agency settings, create SignWise templates, and Manage Users (adding/removing users). Here are some of their abilities:

  • Edit the Community Database
  • Edit some settings (personal and templates)
  • See all clients, communities, and referral sources
  • Perform a CSV export of data
  • Access to all reports

Basic User

Basic Users are similar to Power Users except that they can't use the CSV export functionality or see all reports. Here are their primary functions:

  • Edit the Community Database
  • Edit some settings (personal and templates)
  • See all clients, communities, and referral sources
  • Access custom reports

Independent User

Independent users are similar to Basic Users except that they can only see their own clients (as opposed to other placement agent clients). Here are their primary abilities:

  • Edit the Community Database
  • Edit some settings (personal and templates)
  • See their own clients
  • See all communities and referral sources
  • Access custom reports

Restricted User

Restricted users have the same permissions as Independent users except that they won't have access to the Contract Details section of communities or the Invoices section of Clients & Communities. Here are their primary functions:

  • Edit the Community Database
  • Edit some settings (personal and templates)
  • See their own clients
  • See all communities (except for the Contract Details section) and referral sources
  • Access custom reports

Custom User

Note: Custom user permission are only available to Senior Place Premium Customers.

Custom user permissions make it so you can adjust granular aspects of a user's permission levels. For example, if you want an employee to be a Power User but don't want them to see Invoice information, that can be done using the Custom User permission set.

To customize a user's permissions, you'll just need to email us at support@seniorplace.io with the customizations you'd like to make.
